Ex-DGP's son held for cheating

Kancheepuram, Aug 18 (UNI) The son of a retired DGP of West Bengal was arrested here on charges of cheating.

Police said here today the ex-DGP was running a chain of star hotels in various locations in South India.

The DGP and his son David (34) had heated arguments over some financial details relating to the establishments run by the latter at Kovalam.

He then lodged a complaint with the police saying his son had cheated him to the tune of nearly Rs five lakh following which David was arrested.
