Dance school principal enters record books
Rajahmundry, Aug 18 (UNI) The principal of a dance school has entered the Limca Book of World Records for his 18-hour-long dance recital.
Showing a copy of Limca Book of Records and a certificate to press persons here, Mr Durga Prasad said he performed the feat on March 8, 2003 during the 'Narthana Yagna Aradhana.' About 118 trained dancers took part in the event during which a lakh and one flowers were used and 'homam' (sacrifice) performed.
He urged the government to provide a place to raise a 36-foot ''Narthana Yagna Aradhana Digvijaya Stupam'' in the town.
