CCEA approves Conversion of Recapitalisation Bonds

New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today accorded its approval for converting the Recapitalisation Bonds (Special Securities) issued to Nationalised Banks into Tradable, SLR Government of India Dated Securities.

This will facilitate increased access of the banks to additional resources for lending to the productive sector in the light of the increasing credit needs of the economy, the CCEA added.
