3-day Nagaland Assembly from Tuesday

Kohima, Aug 18: The 12th Session of the 10th Nagaland Assembly will seat here from Tuesday next on its monsoon schedule.

According to official sources here today that the session will begin on August 22 next with obituary reference, question hours, introduction of government bills, government resolution and presentation of the supplementary demand from Grants.

Wednesday will be recess.

On August 24, besides question hour, consideration of passing government bills, discussion and voting on supplementary demands for grants, introduction and consideration of the appropriation (No.3) Bill, 2006 will be taken by the House.

On the ultimate day on August 25, Question hour, presentation of committee reports, government resolution, private members business will be in the agenda, before it declared the House adjourned sine-die.

According to official sources, among the government bills, the women empowerment bill will also be introduced, which is a long pending demand of the women of the state.
