Virtusa appoints Murali Venugopalan as HR Director

Hyderabad, Aug 17 (UNI) Virtusa Corporation, a global provider of software development and IT services today announced that it had appointed Murali Venugopalan as Director Human Resources.

According to Vice-President and Global Head of HR for Virtusa T N Hari, Mr Murali would play the role of Human Resources partners for one of the two Asian business units and also double up as the India HR leader. He would oversee all Human Resouces activities at the Chennai Advanced Technology Centre, he added.

Mr Hari said in a statement that Mr Murali's experience would enable the company to ramp the operations aggressively as they were witnessing increased momentum in all sectors of the business.

Mr Murali with 19 years of experience had worked for Hindustan Zinc, Brakes India (TVS group), TI Diamond Chains (Murugappa Group), Hindustan Motors (CK Birla Group) Polaris and HCL.
