Three drown in tank

Shajapur, MP, Aug 17 (UNI) Three persons including a woman have drowned in a 10-ft-deep underground tank at this district's Dupada village, police said.

The roof of the tank, at Devidas Bairagi's house, gave way due to recent downpours. The deceased were identified as Radheshyam Malviya (20), Kaluram Malviya (25) and Sitaram Bairagi (54). Mangilal Bhilala, who lost consciousness trying to save the trio, was admitted to the district hospital.

Six persons died in rain-related incidents during a month in this district.
