TEA favours productivity linked wage system

Tirupur, Aug 17 (UNI) The Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) has decided that any wage agreement should be for at least five years.

In its annual general meeting here, it said for the first year there should be no increment, three per cent increment during second year and two per cent increment subsequently for each year respectively.

It also insisted for productivity linked wage system.
