Table Tennis team leaves for Colombo

New Delhi, Aug 17 (UNI) The Indian Table Tennis team for the 10th South Asian Games left for Colombo today.

The team is the favourite to win all the seven gold medals in the Games which start tomorrow.

Meanwhile, a 31-member junior team also left to participate in the Taiyuan International Junior Open in China starting August 31.

The team left two days ago and will undergo a 15-day training camp under the supervision of Chinese coaches before the tournament.

Another 12-member team left for Pyongyang to participate in the International Table Tennis Invitational Tournament from August 24 to 28. The team will be training in an eight-day camp prior to the event.
