Senior Congress leader Rajendra P Singh passes away
Patna, Aug 17 (UNI) Senior Congress leader Rajendra Prasad Singh, who served the state in the capacity of minister during his political career, breathed his last at his residence following prolonged illness this morning. He was 78.
Singh is survived by two sons and a daughter.
Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee Chief spokesperson Prem Chandra Mishra here said all senior leaders, including BPCC Chief Sadanand Singh, paid tributes to the departed soul at party headquarters, Sadaquat Ashram.
The mortal remains of Singh would be consigned to flames with full state honour at his native Milki under Haveli Kharagpur in Munger tomorrow morning.
Singh became minister after his elections from Haveli Kharagpur in 1972 and 1985.
