Re opens 7 paise strong at Rs 46.51/52/USD

Mumbai, Aug 17: The Indian currency today opened strong by seven paise at Rs 46.51/52 per US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.58 per US Dollar, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid morning trade, Rupee was trading at Rs 46.48/49 per US Dollar.

The stock market too opened in the green by 50 points and is currently trading at 11,476.28 points which is 28 points more from the previous close.
