RS mourns demise of M.M. Agarwal

New Delhi, Aug 17 (UNI) The Rajya Sabha today mourned the passing away of former member M.M. Agarwal on August 14 at the age of 73.

House chairman Bhairon Singh Shekhawat conveyed to members of the bereaved family a deep sense of sorrow and sympathy.

Mr Agarwal represented Uttar Pradesh from April 2000 to April 2006.

He was executive chairman of the Geneva-based World Federation of United Nations and also served as president of the Parliamentary Forum for Energy, Commerce, Industry and Social Development.
