Pipmate urge to fulfill demands
Pondicherry, Aug 17 (UNI) 'Pipmate', the teaching staff association today urged the administration to take immediate steps to fulfill their eight point charter of demands.
In a statement here today Association Secretary S Sathya said that a memorandum enlisting their demands had been submitted to the Education Minister M O H F Shajahan and Education Secretary B V Selvaraj.
He said that their demands included evolving the new recruitment rules in consultation with the association and till then selection grade and senior grade should be given eligibility and appointment of those who completed their probation in the same post.
The new office bearers of the association were also elected at a recent meeting of the association, Mr Sathya added.
