Mukhiya of Chaitphul panchayat shot dead

Chapra, Aug 17 (UNI) Altogether two people, including Mukhiya of Chaitphul Panchayat Nand Kumar Bind, were shot dead near Garhar village under Manjhi police station area in Saran district today.

According to police, some armed criminals opened fire at the Mukhiya and his friend Suman Kumar when they were going to Tajpur from Manjhi on a motorcycle. The incident took place following a personal dispute.

Raids were on to arrest the criminals.
