MLAs, MPs, Ministers to contribute to CM Relief Fund

Hyderabad, Aug 17 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Congress Legislature Party meeting today decided that their party MLAs would contribute Rs 10,000 and Ministers and MPs Rs 20,000 towards Chief Minister Relief Fund, to help the flood affected people in the state.

Briefing to newspersons after the CLP meeting in which AICC General Secretary and Andhra Pradesh in-charge Digvijay Singh participated, Andhra Pradesh Government Chief Whip Kiran Kumar Reddy said the CLP had decided to take the flood relief programmes to people effectively, so that the people would not believe in ''false propaganda'' carried out by a section of media on flood relief.
