Heavy showers predicted in MP

Bhopal, Aug 17 (UNI) Heavy rain is likely to occur over eastern Madhya Pradesh in the next two days.

A Regional Meteorological Centre official said an extremely low-pressure area formed near Chhattisgarh's Champa, was advancing towards this state. Heavy rains might lash some locations in Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa divisions over the next 48 hours.

Overnight precipitation figures are Lanji 6 cm, Pachmarhi 3, Sheopur Kalan and Ganjbasoda 2 each, Vidisha, Indore, Guna, Ashoknagar, Jawad and Chanderi 1 cm each.
