Former PM Chandrashekhar attends LS; House wishes him well

New Delhi, Aug 17 (UNI) Former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar (SJP-R) today returned to the Lok Sabha after a prolonged absence due to ill health.

Speaker Somnath Chatterjee said he was very happy that the veteran Parliamentarian was back in the House.

''The entire House wishes you a speedy recovery,'' he said.

Mr Chandrashekhar had been suffering from some spinal cord problem for which he underwent surgery in the United States.
