Former Bihar minister Baidynath Pandey dies at 55

Patna, Aug 17 (UNI) Former Bihar's Industry Minister and RJD leader Baidyanath Pandey, who served in Lalu Prasad's cabinet in 90s, today died in New Delhi.

He was 55.

He is survived by his wife, sons and daughters.

Mr Pandey was admitted to a hospital after he complained of uneasiness. He died this morning, a report received here said.

He will be cremated tomorrow, family sources said.

Railway Minister and RJD President Lalu Prasad has condoled the sudden demise of Mr Pandey and described him as champion of the backward classes.

Ms Rabri Devi, Shakeel Ahmad Khan, Dr. Ram Chandra Purvey, Ram Kripal Yadav also condoled the death of Pandey.
