Fire breaks out, destroys jute goods in N 24 Parganas

Barrackpore, Aug 17 (UNI) A devastating fire gutted a huge amount of finished jute goods worth about a few crores at Nadia Jute mill in Naihati, North 24 Parganas.

Fire broke out in the jute mill godown just before midnight.

Fire brigade rushed to the jute mill to contain the fire. Five fire engines were deployed, sources said here today.
