Danish Muslim faces first trial under terror law

COPENHAGEN, Aug 16 (Reuters) A Moroccan-born Dane accused of inciting fellow Muslims to violent holy war is set to be the first person to face prosecution under Danish anti-terrorism laws introduced after the September 11 attacks on the US.

The Danish Prosecutor's office said today that Said Mansur would face trial for allegedly producing and distributing videotapes, CDs and DVDs containing ''inflammatory, jihadist speeches'' and footage of beheadings in Chechnya.

Mansur, who was arrested in September, faces up to six years in prison if convicted.
