Cisco India gets IACC recognition

New Delhi, Aug 17 (UNI) Cisco India has been recognised by the Indo-American Chambers of Commerce (IACC), Cisco Systems, a global internet networking solutions provider, today announced.

The IACC has instituted the 'Indo-American Corporate Excellence awards' and this year Cisco is the winner in two categories - 'Overall Best' and 'Best Company in Technology, Communications and Entertainment' for the year 2006.

The citations, which are part of the IACC Corporate Excellence awards, were presented to Cisco Systems India at a ceremony, held recently in Mumbai. The award was given to Cisco based on financial performance, human capital and management, corporate social responsibility and overall contribution to Indo-US business, a statement issued here said.

''This is a significant recognition for Cisco in India and we are honored to be selected by the IACC for these awards,'' company's Global Development Centre Managing Director S Devarajan said.
