BJP's MP unit lauds cola ban
Bhopal, Aug 17 (UNI) The BJP's Madhya Pradesh unit today described the ban on sale of soft drinks, in six states, as timely and proper from the public health perspective.
''The ban was in view of pesticide content. In public interest, no compromise can be made regarding quality of food and drink,'' Secretary Roop Pamnani said in a statement.
Pointing out that India's retail market possessed annual potential of Rs one lakh crore, he added that was the very reason foreign countries were seeking markets in India.
