Arrested ultras to be interrogated by Mumbai police team
Kolkata, Aug 17 (UNI) The two Pakistan-trained Fidayeen arrested from North 24 Parganas on Independence Day eve would be grilled by a team from Mumbai police today.
The Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists Zubair and Sohail would be grilled on their possible links with the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai on July 7, officials said.
Meanwhile, CID has taken up the investigations into the case, Rajeev Kumar, DIG (CID-Operations) said.
The ultras were interrogated by the CID officials last night to find out their plans in the country.
The SDJM court yesterday remanded both the ultras to 14 days police remand.
Documents seized from them revealed names and addresses, a few of them in Bengal, indicating the state wass being used as a transit point, investigating officers said.
BSF IG Somesh Goyal said that both the ultras were members of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Zubair had links with Lashkar-E-Toiba.
