Arrest warrant against Hooda
New Delhi, Aug 17 (UNI) A city court has issued arrest warrant against Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in a case relating to defacement of public property.
Metropolitan Magistrate A K Susodia issued the order against Mr Hooda on August 10 which is to be carried out by October 5.
On June 21, 2002, Mr Hooda, then the Leader of Opposition and Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee head, had addressed a farmers' rally here in Ram Lila Ground.
A poster about to be used in the rally was put up in the Minto Road Sarvodaya Kendriya Vidayalaya, which is an offence.
Head Constable Vinod Kumar had filed the complaint.
