AP Governor to visit Tirumala tommorrow

Tirupati, Aug 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameswar Thakur, who is on a three-day visit to Tirupati, will visit Lord Balaji temple tommorrow.

He will also preside over the 48th convocation at Sri Venkateswara University .

Later, the governor will participate in the Sri Venkateswara Vedic University foundation stone laying ceremony at 1330hours.

On August 20 at 1030 hours, the governor will attend the Fifth Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Lecture on "Indian Farmers in 21st century Mission and Vision" organised by Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India (AGRASRI) as Chief Guest.

Meanwhile, security had been beefed up at Tirumala and Tirupati following the governor's visit.
