Abandoned remote control creates panic

Tindivanam, Aug 17 (UNI) An abandoned remote control at a railway sub-way construction site at Kaveripakkam near Tindivanam caused panic among the construction workers and passers by.

According to police, the construction workers found the remote control wrapped in a polythene paper.

On information , Police rushed to the spot and searched the area for hidden explosives.

Following this, the Thiruvannamalai passanger, Kanyakumari Express and a goods train were detained for about one and a half hours.
