Raj HC issues notice to Natwar, son in a land dispute
Jaipur, Aug 16 (UNI) The Rajasthan High Court today issued notice to former external affairs minister Natwar Singh and his son Jagat Singh in a land dispute.
The senior leader, already facing the heat after being named in the Volcker report on Iraq oil-for-food scam, was issued the notice on a petition by his brother Bharat Singh.
The court also issued a show cause notice to the state government. In the petition, Mr Bharat Singh has alleged that he had donated a piece of land to Bharatpur city development corporation in 1972. But later when he applied for buying three 'bighas' on concessional rates, according to the regulations laid therein, he was told that the land had already been allotted to Mr Natwar Singh and his son.
