Photography awards on Aug 19

Hyderabad, Aug 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information and Public Relations Shabir Ahmed will distribute awards for best photography here on August 19 on the occasion of 'World Photography Day'.

The Department of Information and Public Relations had already organized a state-level photo competitions on the eve of the World Photography Day.

According to an official release here, the prize winning photographs would be exhibited at the venue.

Competitions were held on seven concepts, including 50 years of Andhra Pradesh, environment balance, Jalayagnam, monsoon rainfall, rural women empowerment, Telugu culture and best news picture of the state, it added.
