MP govt to consider polythene ban

Bhopal, Aug 16 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said his government would seriously contemplate a ban on polythene that was a causative factor for urban flooding.

''Increasing use of polythene clogs drains. It is also consumed by bovines and causes their death,'' he said in response to a media question at his residence this evening.
