MMTV to be aired from tomorrow
Kochi, Aug 16 (UNI) The Malayala Manorama group, a 118-year old major in regional print media, will launch a 24-hour news channel MMTV from tomorrow.
The network will have three channels, one state-specific while the others will have regional flavour. It will deliver real-time 3D graphic images, according to reports.
The channels will have a plethora of current affairs programmes for the common public ranging from news bulletins to talks on the political, social and economic developments in the world.
MMTV would have state-of-the-art technology with MPEG-4 high-definition compression, signal conversion and networking products on par with the world media in collecting and disseminating news on time.
In Kerala there were seven media groups that ran several television channels, apart from the regional channel of the public broadcaster Doordarshan.
