Kamal Nath to inaugurate Marketing Summit-06 tom

New Delhi, Aug 16: Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath will inaugurate the Seventh Annual CII Marketing Summit-2006 here tomorrow.

The two-day summit with the theme 'Marketing in a Global World: New Rules for an Old Game', will study the influence of increased globalisation on marketing and branding in India.

The keynote address on 'Multi-Nationalism: Managing Global Brands in Domestic Markets' will be delivered by Mr Doug Baillie, CEO of Hindustan Lever Ltd.

Designed to offer the Indian marketer a dynamic perspective on how marketers must equip themselves to face the challenges of increased globalisation, the summit promises to take a comprehensive view and analysis of this topic and will equip marketers with a new understanding and competence on global marketing, a CII statement here said.
