LONDON, Aug 16 (Reuters) ICE Brent futures fell more than a dollar on Wednesday, extending two days of losses spurred by a truce between Israel and Lebanese Hizbollah fighters.
ICE Brent futures were trading $1.01 a barrel lower at $72.79 by 1449 GMT.
Prices fell further after U.S. government data on inventories showed distillate inventories had risen by 800,000 barrels last week, while crude stocks fell by 1.6 million barrels and gasoline stocks fell 2.3 million barrels.
The figures were broadly in line with expectations, but analysts said the market was technically weak.
