Health camps stay in flood-hit areas
Hyderabad, Aug 16 (UNI) Health camps set up in flood-hit areas of Andhra Pradesh are operational in ten districts with 465 medical teams involved in medical relief operations till date.
Mobile medical teams were arranged at district level for attending emergencies, according to an official release here today.
As many as 613 people were treated for diarrhoea till date and 13,323 for fever. 2.5 lakh were treated for minor ailments and chlorine tablets were distributed to disinfect wells and water tanks.
In addition to medical teams camping there now, specialist medical teams from Director of Medical Education and A P Vaidya Vidya Parishad were also conducting relief operations.
