Former President Ford admitted to Mayo Clinic

LOS ANGELES, Aug 16 (Reuters) Former President Gerald Ford has been admitted to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, his spokeswoman said.

The spokeswoman declined to say what kind of treatment Ford was getting at the hospital, referring all media inquires to the Mayo Clinic yesterday.

A spokesman for the hospital could not immediately be reached for comment.
