Discussions on Telangana on at Centre: Digvijay

Hyderabad, Aug 16 (UNI) AICC General Secretary and Andhra Pradesh state in charge Digvijay Singh today said the issue of Telangana was being discussed at the Centre.

Briefing reporters after the Election Manifesto Committee review meeting and Coordination Committee meeting between the Government and the Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr Singh said they were aware of the deadlines imposed by Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leaders.

'We will discuss the action-taken-report on Telangana'', he said, adding, they were discussing the issue with TRS leaders too.

Asked about the CPI(M) not being happy with the government, the senior Congress leader said the left party's support to the government was from outside. He said the CPI(M) and Congress might not think alike. ''Our government may not be to their liking always.

But there is complete unity as regards the Common Minimum Programme,'' the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister said.
