Dalmiya has provided Pilcom account books to auditors: BCCI
Chennai, Aug 16 (UNI) Contrary to Board's charge against him, former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya has provided the books for Pilcom accounts to BCCI's Auditors 'Billimoria&Co,' as the auditors themselves informed the Board.
This was revealed by BCCI Treasurer N Srinivasan to newspersons at a press conference at the conclusion of the Boards's two day Speical General Body meeting here.
Mr Srinivasan also said Mr Dalmiya, who had made available the auditors, the account books, had also informed them that the money taken from Pilcom account for expenses could be recovered from the Pilcom account.
''The books were produced by Dalmiya'', Mr Srinivasan said.
It may be recalled that on April 19, the disciplinary committee of the BCCI had suspended Mr Dalmiya from attending any meetings of the Board charging him of misappropriation of Pilcom accounts. It had also issued a show cause notice to him. The Board had also summoned him to appear before it. Mr Dalmiya has challenged the summons as well as his suspension in a Kolkata civil court.
