Congress to launch 'Coalition Govt Hatao' stir in K'taka
Hubli, Aug 16 (UNI) The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) will launch a 'Coalition Government Hatao' agitation following the JD(S)-BJP Government's ''failure on all fronts'', senior Congress leader R V Deshpande said today.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the ''corrupt'' Government had no moral right to continue in power, but the party would not do anything to bring down the Government as it would fall on its own. The Congress was ready to face elections, he added.
Mr Deshpande accused Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy of being unable to take any decision due to his inexperience and immaturity.
Decisions were being made outside the Vidhan Soudha, the State Secretariat. The Congress had staged demonstrations against the coalition Government at block level. Protests would be held in Uttara Kannada district tomorrow, he said He said the party had organised a rally in Bangalore on September three, to be addressed by party President Sonia Gandhi and attended by over five to six lakh workers. The All India Progressive Janata Dal would merge with the Congress that day, he added.
