Calicut Motor Show to exhibit latest motor vehicles

Kozhikode, Aug 16: Latest passenger cars, trucks, jeeps, MUVs, sports cars, motor cycles and scooters, auto components and accessories of leading automobile giants from various parts of the country would be on display at the Calcut Motor Show 2006 beginning here on August 16.

Some of the automobile giants confirmed participation in the three-day event were General Motors, Peninsular Honda, Koyenco, Amana Toyota, KTC-Honda, Piagio and Hero Honda, Mahindra and Tata-KTC, Ford, sakthi Motors, Vikram Motors Gem TVS, Aditya Kinetic, among others, directors Ram Menon and Hariharan of the Impresario Event Management India told a press meet here today.

The accessories providers taking part are Boston, Webasto, Kit Up, Car and Interiors, Bosch, Lexus, Lathas Car graphics and Car Chemmical providers like Pidilite.

Display of latest four and two wheelers, vintage cars modified vehicles and accessories would be the main highlights of the event organised in co-operation of leaders bankers -- SBT and SBI, they said.

District Collector A Jayathilak would inaugurate the event, which would be open for the public from 1000 hrs to 2100 hrs, they added.
