Bomb threat at Meerut temple turns hoax

Lucknow, Aug 16 (UNI) A bomb threat at the Baba Augharnath temple in Meerut turned out to be a hoax.

Police said the office of the SSP received a phone call about a bomb being planted at the temple. A subsequent search at the premises turned to be a hoax.

As a precaution, other important temple were also searched for explosives.

On Monday, another threat to blow up the PWD headquarters here had also turned out be a mischief.
