Bomb-like object delays trains

Sagar, MP, Aug 16 (UNI) Train movement halted along the Sagar-Bina route for about three hours from 1130 hrs today after a bomb-like object was found between the up and down tracks.

''Information was received of the object being found near Sumredi station. Police personnel reached the spot and removed it. An investigation is underway and Bhopal Police has been alerted,'' said SP Shahid Awsar.

Railway sources said a gangman initially alerted Khurai's stationmaster.

The 8235 Bhopal-Bilaspur and 8236 Bilaspur-Bhopal Express, besides a few goods trains, were delayed.
