Andaman's scenic beauty now on post cards

Port Blair, Aug 16 (UNI) The Union territory's Chief Administration Secretary Shamsher K Sherrif has launched five new series of ''Meghdoot post cards'' brought out by the India Post, depicting the natural scenic beauty of the islands.

The post cards depicted pictures of famous Cellular Jail, the Sand bar between Ross and Smith Islands, Sitapur beach of Neil Island, the Barren Island and Cinque Island.

These post cards would cost only 25 paise each.

The cards would help promote tourism in the islands, Director of Postal Services in Andaman G Madhumita Das said.

She informed that the new post cards would be available in all the post offices of the islands.
