Varun Shipping Co delists equity shares

New Delhi, Aug 15: The board of Varun Shipping Company Ltd has recommended delisting of equity shares from the Ahmedabad Stock Exchange Ltd, the Calcutta Stock Exchange Association Ltd, and the Delhi Stock Exchange Association Ltd, a company statement said.

The Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting yesterday, recommended to the shareholders the issue of various securities through domestic/international offerings upto an amount of Rs 25,000 million.

The Board also considered an increase in the limit of investment by SEBI registered Foreign Institutional Investors and its sub-accounts in the Company upto 49 per cent, it added.
