Symposium on nanoscience in Kochi

Kochi, Aug 15 (UNI) A three-day International Symposium on Frontiers in Nanoscale Science, Technology and Education will be held here from tomorrow to discuss the future in the field.

Addresssing mediapersons here yesterday, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the US Prof P M Ajayan said the symposium would be a platform for scientists from around the world to discuss developments in nanoscience and technology.

Prof Ajayan said nanotechnology is the emerging science of the world and would benefit society immensely.

The symposium would also provide opportunities in nanoscience for young people in the state, he added.
