Man tries to immolate himself

Gaya, Aug 15 (UNI) A person today tried to immolate himself, as he did not receive his dues from a leading dairy farm, under civil lines police station area in the district today.

Mr Manoj Mishra sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical, police said.

Police said that he tried to immolate himself in front of the dairy farm office when its management refused to pay him the dues against the transportation of the dairy products to various spots.

Dairy farm manager U C Verma, however, claimed that not a single penny was due.

District Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Jain said that police was investigating into the matter and statement of Mr Mishra would be recorded once his condition improved.
