Man released after being detained

Kolkata, Aug 15 (UNI) A man, who was detained from the NSCBI Airport here this morning for moving about suspicious circumstances, was released in the evening after police found out that he suffered from some mental problems.

After prolonged interrogation throughout the day, the police came to know that the man lived in the Muchipara police station area of North Kolkata and was a Chartered Accountant.

His family members including his daughter, a computer engineer, told the police that he was suffering from some mental stress due to personal problems in the family.

The man gave conflicting explanations for loitering around near the domestic terminal of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, police said.
