Independence Day celebrated in courts

Patna, Aug 15: The 60th Independence Day was celebrated in traditional fervour in courts of Bihar today.

Chief Justice of Patna High Court Dr. J N Bhatt hoisted the national flag in a ceremony held at Patna High Court, while the national flag was hoisted at district court Patna by district and sessions judge Mandhata Singh.

The national flag was hoisted at Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) by vice-chairman justice (Retired) P K Sinha, while presiding officer M R Farooqui hoisted the national flag at Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT).

On the other hand Bihar State Bar Council Chairman senior advocate Rajendra Prasad Singh hoisted the national flag at Bar Council Bhawan and Patna District Bar Association president Jaiprakash Singh hoisted the national flag in its premises.
