Four workers at Narora plant arrested on ''suspicion''

Bulandshahr, Aug 15 (UNI) Four workers at the Narora Atomic Power Plant were arrested yesterday on ''suspicion'' and are being interrogated, police sources today said.

''Four workers, all belonging to the minority community and residents of Aligarh, have been arrested on grounds of suspicion and are being interrogated,'' police sources said.

The Uttar Pradesh government had on Friday called on the Army as a standby for the sensitive power unit.

Around 100 army personnel were deployed in Narora that evening while another 100 troops joined them the next day.

The Army had also deployed anti-aircraft missiles around the plant to thwart any terrorist attack.
