Constable attempts suicide in DSP's office

Adilabad, Aug 15 (UNI) A 40-year-old constable allegedly attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in the premises of Kagaznagar Deputy Superintendent of Police Office here today.

Police said Madhukar, who decided to take the extreme step was saved by the timely intervention of his colleagues.

Madhukar, who had been admitted to the hospital was out of danger, they added.

Meanwhile, Madhukar's relatives alleged that Madhukar resorted to the extreme step unable to bear the harrasment from Chennur Inspector of Police.
