3 killed as car hits tree

Hyderabad, Aug 15 (UNI) Three youths were killed and two injured when the car in which they were travelling hit a roadside tree near Injapur on the city outskirts in the early hours today.

Police said Chandrasekhar, Rajesh, Ajay Kumar and Dayanand who wanted to enjoy their holiday at Nagarjunasagar Dam in neighbouring Nalgonda District, started from the city by car last night.

When the car reached Injapur, the driver swerved the vehicle to avoid colliding with another vehicle.

He lost control and the car hit the tree killing the driver, Chandrasekhar and Rajesh on the spot. Ajay Kumar and Dayanand were admitted to a local hospital with injuries.
