Two bombs recovered in Rewari district
Rewari, Aug 14 (UNI) Two live hand grenades were found in Lohana village of the district today, police said.
The rusted grenades were discovered by some children while they were playing in a field this morning, police here said.
The explosives had been sealed and Army experts have been called to defuse them, Rewari SP Ram Chander Bishnoi said.
He said the villagers had approached the police with the news that their children had discovered two bombs. The police then took away the grenades.
Investigations were in progress to ascertain where and how the bombs reached the village, the SP said.
Many families from the area have more than one member serving in the Indian Army.
