Rupee opens weak at Rs 46.55/56/USD

Mumbai, Aug 14: Indian currency today opened weak by five paise at Rs 46.55/56 per US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.51 per US Dollar, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid-morning trade, rupee was trading at Rs 46.54/55 per US Dollar.

The stock market however opened in the green by 29 points and is currently trading at 11,269.65 points which is 77.19 points more than the previous close.
